We have two fishing lakes on site Woodland Grove Lake and Horseshoe Lake.
Woodland Grove Lake
Woodland Grove Lake is our oldest fishing lake which has now been established for some years and contains Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Tench & Carp (Mirror, Common, Ghost, Crucian, Grass & Koi). The largest Carp landed in 2010 was over 22lb.
The lake is in our Adult Only area and therefore can only be fished by anglers of 18 years or over on a strictly 'dawn to dusk' basis. NO night fishing is allowed on Woodland Grove Lake.
Horseshoe Lake
Horseshoe Lake is situated in a fenced off area next to Golden Meadow. This is the newer of our two fishing lakes and has been re-stocked with Common and Mirror Carp up to 25lb, plus Bream, Tench, Roach, Koi, Ghost Carp, Grass Carp and Crucian Carp.
Horseshoe Lake can be fished by all and you can also fish on a 24 hour basis. However, children under 14 must be supervised at all times by an adult of 18 years or age or over.

Guest fishing permits (must be accompanied by a resident) additional £2.00 on listed price.
Weekly (7 days), Monthly (31 days), Annual (365 days) permits run from date of issue.
Half day permits run from dawn to 1pm or 1pm to dusk. Rules A full set of rules are provided with each fishing permit and are also listed below. We strictly enforce our rules for the care of our fish, the local wildlife and for the sake of other campers and anglers. Your permit may be checked by the owners, our on site security staff or any other members of staff at any time.

Age Restrictions:
Woodland Grove – (ADULT Area) – ALL anglers must be 18 years of age or over
Horseshoe Lake – Anglers under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a person of 18 years of age or older at ALL times

Woodland Grove: ADULT Area – Day/Half Day Permits - STRICTLY Dawn To Dusk
Horseshoe Lake : Day/Half Day Permits available – STRICTLY Dawn to Dusk. 24 Hour Fishing Is Allowed On This Lake (No Bivvies/Tents Allowed)
24 Hour Ticket Valid From 24 Hours From Date/Time Of Issue
Half Day Permits: AM - From Dawn To 1.00pm – PM - From 1.00pm To Dusk.

You MUST be in procession of a Fishing Permit before you commence fishing - Anyone found fishing without a valid Fishing Permit will be charged a £10.00 surcharge in addition to the Day Permit price – failure to pay this will result in you being asked to leave the site with no refund of any monies paid |

Landing Nets are compulsory and must be used – Available to purchase or hire at Reception |
5. |
Barbless hooks ONLY and No fixed leads of any sort |
6. |
Rods must NEVER be left unattended |
7. |
Removal or introduction of fish is strictly prohibited |
8. |
Electronic bite alarms or any alarm that has a noise indicator should be turned down low at all times so as not to disturb other anglers and campers – especially at night on Horseshoe Lake |
9. |
No Sacking, Bait Boats, Keep Nets or Swimming allowed |
10. |
You should be in possession of a valid Environment Agency Rod Licence (anglers over 12 years old) – these are obtainable at the Post Office or by ringing: 0844 – 800 – 5386 |
11. |
You must produce your Rod Licence (anglers over 12 years old) and/or your Fishing Permit when asked to do so by our bailiff or member of staff |
12. |
Respect all wildlife – wildlife has total priority in or around the lakes |
13. |
Do not damage any vegetation |
14. |
No litter – please do not throw/drop litter, bottles, cigarette butts etc around/into the lakes |
15. |
All anglers must be in possession of a disgorger – Available to purchase at Reception |
16. |
The management reserves the right to amend these rules or add new rules at any time |
17. |
Please note that the lakes are monitored by CCTV. Anyone found causing damage or any reckless behaviour while on site will render themselves liable to criminal prosecution |
CCTV Security Camera's
The fishing lakes are monitored by CCTV Security Camera's for the protection of the fish and fishing environment.
Reminder
BARBLESS hooks only and you MUST be in possession of a valid Permit, Landing Net & Disgorger. Carp mats are recommended.
